The hotel's location was absolutely fantastic! It was just a short walk away from many of the key places to visit in the city, such as the Top Kapi Palace and the Grand Bazaar. Plus, the tram station was a mere 3-minute walk away, making it super convenient to explore further. Another great thing about the location was the nearby convenience shop, where we could pick up essentials and delicious sandwiches whenever we needed them.
One downside was that the rooms did not match the pictures shown online. The rooms we were given were quite different and not as spacious as we had expected.

View from the window to the sea. Quick customer service. I appreciated my stay here & recommend it. I were near some of my favorite spots such as blue mosque...
No negatives from this place.

The situation is very good for someone who's willing to walk, at a distance of 5-20 minutes from the Grand Bazaar, Blue Mosque, Hagia Sofia and the Topkapi Palaces respectively.
The streets around are fairly crowded and getting there by taxi can be rather difficult sometimes.

The location of the hotel is great, with many of the main attractions within walking distance and a tram station close by. the staff is also friendly and helpful, providing assistance whenever needed. the view from the terrace is stunning, overlooking the Sea of Marmara and the Blue Mosque.
There were several issues with the room, including broken amenities such as lights, hairdryer, and door.

Cooperation ad positive attitude of staff. Harbour views.
Not really, good value for money. Central location for tourists.

The staff was incredibly helpful and welcoming. They went above and beyond to assist us with travel plans and local recommendations, making our holiday stress-free. We also enjoyed the convenient location just a short stroll away from all the major sights and attractions. the breakfast spread was varied and tasty, with a stunning view of the surrounding area from the rooftop terrace.

Good view from the top, good location. Reasonable for the price.
Staff isn't organized. When we arrived at night they didn´t have a room for us and took us to another place, but got lost in between, and couldn´t explain to us the reasons, because they can´t speak english... Poor breakfast.

The location is very nice, although a little hidden, within walking distance to main attractions in Sultanahmet. The pillows are superb!
The breakfast should have a little more options and some of the products with a better quality.

Excellent location, in the 'local' market area of Sultanahmet, so might be a bit noisy but its close to both the grand market and the blue mosque/ayasofia etc… Staff were very friendly and helpful. Also the breakfast was very good with large selection.
There were some maintenance work going on during our stay which was quite annoying, although that was during the day which granted we should've been out exploring the city. Also no computer to check the internet (there is wireless though). Also the TV channels were all Turkish/Arabic not many English ones.

It was a nice stay the location is excellent to the old city and bazards and shops. it is close to the access to the tramaway
the roads where the hotel is located have high incline angel (around 40 degrees) so if you have a kid on a buggy it will not be easy to move around the hotel

Friendly and helpful staff. Air conditioning. Plenty of hot water - but no plug in the wash basin.
Small room. Problems with bathroom doors not fitting. Limited choice of breakfast. No coffee/tea making facilities in room. No bedside lights, only one bedside table. If this was superior, I don't know what the other rooms must have been like.

Me and my husband stayed in New Pelda Hotel for four days. Maybe the best days of our life. By the personal reasons, of course. :) But the hotel provide us very comfortable atmosphere, good service and a necessary help in navigation in Istanbul. We want to say a special thanks to the personell of the hotel. All of them were very kind and even helped us to organize a small celebration of fourth anniversary of our wedding day. We can recommend this hotel for every type of travelers, but especially for young pairs, who wouldn't wait for something pompous, who have a good mood and a sense of humor.
